3.1 Phillip Lim

Phillip Lim is a New York based fashion designer with a Cambodian-Chinese heritage. He debuted his first 3.1 Phillip Lim line in 2005, and was awarded the CFDA Emerging Talent in Womenswear in 2007. Described as a 'classic cool' creative director for 3.1 Phillip Lim, Lim aims to refine as opposed to define with his luxurious fabrics choices, including washed silk, brushed wool, tissue weight cashmere, and laundered cottons. Effortlessly chic in his designs, Lim creates the perfect balance between hard and soft with his renewed emphasis on tailoring; rendering classic designs new again by an exceptional focus on detail.
